Autumn equinox has arrived. The sunlight is evenly spread on the equator, and divides day and night, cold and heat into halves. In the Northern Hemisphere, from this day on, the day is getting shorter and the night is getting longer, and diurnal temperature variation increases. People embrace the second half of autumn.
English Version“Autumn equinox”

On this day, the ancients usually worship the moon, eat vegetables of autumn and send pictures of cattle to their friends. Yet nowadays, China specially names it as Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival in order to celebrate the joy of harvest and greetings of season. The plump crops sway with the wind in the fields, fulfilling the promise of spring.
